Client Brief:
As we reach the end of the year, we thought we would look back at some examples of our most recently introduced service, solar panel scaffolding. For each of these projects, we worked closely with a local solar panel company to provide scaffolding to facilitate their installation. These were both commercial and residential projects across the country.
Our Solution:
While each of our clients is different and, therefore, requires a bespoke solution, our external scaffolding is typically used in solar panel projects to enable safe installation. All scaffolding used for this purpose is specially designed with ladder access gates, along with a rope and wheel, to allow the installer to manoeuvre the solar panels safely to the rooftop.
Much like any of our projects, health and safety is vital when installing solar panels. As such, for residential projects, we always consider the residents living inside the property and their requirements, and for commercial sites, we ensure that strict protocols are in place to protect the public.
The Outcome:
Working closely with solar panel companies, we ensure that all scaffolding is erected in the required location on time and ready for the installers to arrive. We will also revisit the site after installation to remove the scaffolding and, for longer-term projects, would happily arrange regular health and safety assessments.
