Client Brief:
In this massive project, our client has plans to convert an old office building in Central Milton Keynes into 156 apartments. After searching for commercial scaffolding in Milton Keynes, they trusted Merlin Scaffolding to supply and erect 8000m of independent scaffolding around the building’s perimeter. With nine layers of scaffolding, each two meters apart, the team has been hard at work on this huge task scheduled to be completed in two years’ time.
Our Solution:
As always, site safety is at the top of our project priorities. This building is located in Milton Keynes’ busy city centre, meaning pedestrian footfall is exceptionally high. With this in mind, our team has been extremely mindful of the public as we’ve secured our scaffolding and continued to hold ourselves to the highest health and safety standards.
Due to the scale of this task, it’s taken a considerable amount of planning to erect scaffolding around the entire building without any problems. The team have used their extensive knowledge and experience to avoid issues thus far and remain on schedule. We hold regular onsite meetings to maintain a clear line of communication throughout the team despite the considerable distances involved in this project.
The Plan:
