In our latest project, the Merlin Scaffolding team took our services to the beautiful borough of Richmond Upon Thames, London. Our client, a big-name retailer, planned to decorate the external profiles of two old buildings and tasked us with supplying and erecting the external scaffolding.
Our Solution:
In traditional tourist areas like Richmond, our team must take into account a new range of considerations. For example, older buildings often lack the structural integrity of newer builds, so it’s essential to bear this in mind when erecting our scaffolding. As always, health and safety is top of our priorities, and in areas with high footfall like this it’s crucial to take all of the necessary precautions.
With these details in mind, the Merlin Scaffolding team expertly erected scaffolding for the full height and length of both buildings with minimal disruption. We also boarded each lift to allow for easy access to each part of the properties. We’ll be returning to these properties in the near future to erect scaffolding that reaches the two chimneys for re-pointing works.
